Hi this is Doris!
For some of you it's the simple changes that would make you happy when it comes to your invoice formats. Although improved, Deltek Vision 6.1 standard template options may not meet your principal's requirements when it comes the professional look and feel you want in your invoices. No matter who the programmer or software vendor, professional firms really take pride and how their invoices need to look. The fees for custom invoice services can be significant and a poorly presented invoice can lead to client confusion or worst, delay in payment.
Until Version 6.1 SP1, changing an invoice format could be costly, partly because invoice formats were placed in Actuate, a not common report writer that is difficult at best for even an experienced person to master. With Actuate now gone and Deltek invoices using SQL Reporting we have had great success in making the simplest of changes a reality for clients.
For instance, bolding, alignments, relabeling and general spacing can be changed for a reasonable cost. In fact, other reports also have that same ability for change. Skilled staff can accomplish this with permanent documentation .
