Hi this is Doris! What does it mean for you when software companies say "we are no longer supporting your version of software?" Should this spin you into action to make a change? My experience with this type of small business marketing almost always results in a frustrated client. Why? because small businesses tend to want to control their decisions and choices. Here is an example: The HP MFP8150 is a great multi task printer that scans, prints, creates PDFs etc. but its software and drivers are no longer supported by HP. This creates a repair problem should you need to reload the software on your server and the license is not supplied anymore. Use MS Office? Don't lose your CD and license on an unsupported version, they’re not replaceable. Use Quicken 2006? They turned off the download feature automatically on April 30th of this year. What I am saying is that the larger the company, the smarter they are about this stuff, and know that eventually even if you are happy with your current setup, they might be able to force a change on you by not supporting an old version anymore in order to get you to spend more money. Whether you are on Axium, BillQuick, Deltek Advantage, Deltek Sema4, Deltek Vision, Deltek Win2, Intuit's QuickBooks, MYOB, Sage Fixed Assets (FAS), or Sage Master Builder, we work to support any technology that you own until you are ready to let it go!
